If you’re looking for a unique break with rugged charm and something for everyone then North Wales offers some of the best beaches in the country. North Wales is easily accessible from cities like Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester. It is an area that is passionate about its language, culture, music and history.

There are traditional family retreats complete with sandcastles, Punch and Judy and fish and chips. There are beautiful towns up and down the North Wales coast, such as Llandudno, Rhyl, Colwyn Bay and Barmouth. Snowdonia can also be found here with it’s lakes and waterfalls, offering a stunning visit.

The Snowdonia National Park is one of the most beautiful locations in the British Isles. Whether you simply wish to admire the awesome, jaw-dropping views, or if you want to climb Snowdon itself, this is an unmissable thing to do in North Wales. It is one of the UK’s most popular mountains for hiking and climbing and also boasts some amazing coastal landscapes.

There is more to Snowdonia than hiking and you experience the thrill of Europe’s longest zip wire at Zip World or travel around on the Snowdon Mountain railway for a more sedate activity. Visit Coed y Brenin for some serious mountain biking fun or go white water rafting near Bala. There is a great deal of family adventure to be discovered in this natural playground.

Wales is also famous for some of the best castles in Europe. One of the best is Harlech Castle and there are walks that can take right round to get the best views from all angles. Silhouetted against the sand, with the peaks of Snowdonia in the background, it doesn’t get much more magical than this.  These beautiful settings don’t stay clean and tidy with flawless interiors on their own.  They have a system in place on their Inspection app which they probably sourced from sites like propertyinspect.com which allows them to keep track of work needing to be finished, any work done and even allows pictures to be taken for a reference.

Llandudno has been a holiday destination since Victorian times and there are activities and events for every generation. An Official World Heritage site, the best place to start is the Great Orme Tramway which is well over a hundred years old. Or test out Britain’s longest cable car and at the peak you’ll find wild goats, pitch and putt golf, a play area and incredible views across to the Lake District! There is also a ski slope and Wales’ longest toboggan run. Visit Llandudno Pier for a seaside treat and enjoy some great food.

The Isle of Anglesey is simply stunning and is the perfect adventure or romantic getaway. There are varied beaches and historic towns and it also boasts being home to the longest named place in Europe. It is also known as ‘Mam Cymru’ which means the mother of Wales and this gives you an idea of the affection it inspires. The Romans were scared by the fierce Celtic druids here but rest assured that the locals are very friendly now. Visit the Menai Suspension Bridge, the first modern suspension bridge in the world. Enjoy the 125 mile coastal path of the Isle and spot some beautiful rare birds while taking in one of the largest collections of ancient sites in Britain.
