Although this Christmas will be a little different for most of us, there is no reason that we can’t still enjoy ourselves in other ways. If you are feeling a bit at a loss of what to do, one of the best things that you can do for both the body and the mind is to enjoy a lovely winter walk on Christmas day.

If you are in Wales, then you are lucky to have the Pembrokeshire coast nearby and all of the stunning views that come along with it. Explore the amazing Marloes peninsula, see the sea birds at Caldey island, or walk the picturesque coastal route of Saundersfoot to Tenby to blow the winter cobwebs away!

In the south of England, the South Downs has a landscape that will take your breath away and plenty of places to go for a wintery walk. The coastal clifftops are a huge attraction, walk the famous Seven Sisters and Birling gap walk for amazing sea views.  Head inland to Meon valley to enjoy beautiful countryside, as well as the mysterious chalk figure that is carved int the hillside – the Long Man of Wilmington!
